Dr. Woods was called into the preaching ministry in 1978 and is recognized by many of his peers as one of God’s most gifted expository preachers. Dr. Woods was greatly influenced by Dr. E. K. Bailey (Concord Baptist Church of Dallas, TX) and Dr. Stephen Olford (Olford Center for Biblical Preaching in Memphis, TN) and is absolutely committed to bringing expositional excellence to the pulpit. Dr. Woods taught Homiletics and Expository Preaching in a seminary for 19 years and continues to do so today through MWE. He is the author of a Homiletics Manual entitled, “Transformational Preaching.” Your church family will be greatly blessed by his pulpit ministry.
